We are seeking an exceptionally detail oriented professional to join our growing team. This role will provide policy compliance and governance support for a portfolio of information and data resources.
The successful candidate already is or will very quickly become a subject matter expert on the regulations and policies supported by this position. They will be responsible for performing and supporting information and data resources governance related activities. Activities associated with ensuing compliance, support, tracking, and reporting of OMB, CPIC, EPLC, FITARA, and other Federal and Agency regulations, policies, and best practice related requirements. They will be expected to engage with leadership stakeholders to help, guide, support, and advise on compliance and related compliance activities.
IT Governance, Policy Compliance, and Communication Responsibilities:
In this role you will create communications materials, presentations, talking points, manage content, coordinate and facilitate governance meetings, and all support all post and pre meeting functions and stakeholders. You must be able to use the Microsoft Office Suite in a business setting to support stakeholder needs. This role will require professionally developed artifacts and communications for presentation to leadership audiences. You will create, gather, document, present, and support communications activities and related deliverable. Including details, documents, and presentations to leadership audiences. This includes but is not limited to developing, implementing, managing, supporting, facilitating, and assisting with:
- processes, platforms, and artifacts that assist with complying with federal policy requirements.
- training solutions to educate stakeholders regarding policy requirements, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- processes, methodologies, tools, and artifacts designed to collect, record, aggregate, track, and report relevant policy compliance information to ensure compliance.
- documentation supporting effective and efficient program reviews.
- stage gates and other key reviews.
- approaches, processes, workflows, standards, methods, tool kits, tools, and artifacts of business and operations; including strategies, portfolios, investments, divisions, programs, projects, initiatives, and policy compliance.
- initiative requirements to comply with respective federal and CDC policies to ensure source systems of record reflect correct and current information.
- input of compliance information into the systems of record.
- timelines for ensuring compliance with regulation and policy processes and reporting.
- evaluations and auditing of business cases to ensure quality standards; providing actionable feedback, advice, and guidance to project teams to improve the quality and performance of their investments and associated business cases.

IT Governance, Policy Compliance, and Communication Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent certifications) in related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with OMB, CPIC, EPLC, FITARA highly desired.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). This role will require professionally developed artifacts and communications for presentation to leadership audiences.
